On Møn you can stay in a holiday home, a bed and breakfast, a hotel or a campsite. Holiday homes in the beach areas of Ulvshale, Råbylille Strand, Klintholm Havn and Hårbølle offer the biggest choice. There are only a few hotels: Visit Sydsjælland & Møn lists five, plus six campsites (as of October 2026). The island covers 217.75 km², and the main town of Stege has 3,811 inhabitants (1 January 2026). Which type suits you is decided mainly by the length of your trip. For two or three nights a hotel room or B&B is a good fit, because there is no handover and no final cleaning. For a week or longer the holiday home pays off. A tent or cabin suits cycling and walking tours, for example on the Camønoen and other routes.
