Restaurants on Møn are found mainly in Stege and Klintholm Havn, with a few places at Møns Klint, on Nyord, in Askeby and on Bogø. The list covers places with their own operator website or an entry on the tourism websites of South Zealand and Møn. Opening hours change with the season, so each entry says where the information comes from (as of October 2026). Prices are given only where the operator publishes them itself.

Klintholm Havn

Most of the places are close together at the fishing and yacht harbour in the south-east, about 7 km by road from the GeoCenter Møns Klint. The page Klintholm Havn has information on the village itself.

Restaurant Klintholm

A fish restaurant in the harbour's old freezer building (Thyravej 25, 4791 Borre), with a large terrace facing the harbour. According to the listing it is known for its fish buffet; the tourism website says the lunch buffet always has at least 15 kinds of herring. No opening hours are given in the listing. Phone to check: +45 55 81 92 90.

Restaurant ND122

The head chef is Jesper Dams Hansen. According to the regional description, lunch is a small menu or a three-course set menu of the day, and in the evening a menu from sea, field and local producers (Klintholm Havneby 24G). According to the operator's website it is usually open Thursday to Saturday, for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and in the evening from 18:00; from May to June and in August and September Wednesday evening is added, and in July it is open Tuesday to Saturday. The website last listed times for 2025, so check them again before you plan. Booking is required.

Restaurant Portofino

An Italian restaurant and pizzeria at the harbour (Thyravej 4A). According to the listing it is open in the evening all year, with a terrace in summer. Table bookings and takeaway are handled by phone on +45 55 85 51 81, according to the operator's website.

Café Klap Hesten

A café and bar in the former ice factory at the end of the pier (Klintholm Havneby 24d), with terrace seating and a view of the harbour and the Baltic. Dogs are allowed. The business says it posts current hours on Facebook, Instagram and Google; there is no fixed schedule.

Ålehuset

A café and shop in an old house with eel tanks at the harbour (Klintholm Havneby 24G). It serves local ice cream, coffee, cold drinks and sandwiches, and the shop sells regional food, handicrafts and souvenirs from Møn. The operator gives its hours on its Facebook page.

Buying fish

There is a fresh fish shop at the harbour. The guidebook Frommer's also mentions a smokehouse east of the fishing harbour, the Klintholm Røgeri. It does not say whether it still opens today; ask at the harbour office or the tourist information (harbour office: +45 24 42 21 82).

Møns Klint

Café Møns Klint

A café on the first floor of the building at the GeoCenter (Stengårdsvej 8, 4791 Borre), with a wooden terrace under old trees and an ice cream hatch. The menu starts Danish: home-made frikadeller, seasonal salads, apple tart and rhubarb trifle; there are vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can visit the café without a GeoCenter ticket. It follows the GeoCenter's hours, and the GeoCenter is closed for winter from 31 October 2026 to 20 March 2027. Two menus apply in 2026: one from 28 March to 26 June and from 29 August to 30 October, one from 27 June to 28 August. Details at cafemoensklint.dk and on the page GeoCenter Møns Klint. Stege

The island's capital has the most cafés. For the town see Stege.

David's

A lunch restaurant at Storegade 11 with Danish-French cooking, window seats onto the main street and a courtyard with a view of the church tower. Open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 17:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 to 16:00; the kitchen closes at least an hour before closing time. Booking is by phone only on +45 33 13 80 57, and especially advisable on Tuesday market days. Dogs on a lead are welcome if you let them know in advance (davids.nu, as of October 2026).

Det Gamle Bryghus

A restaurant in the courtyard of Luffes Gård (Søndersti 3). Many dishes are made with beer from Bryghuset Møn, and the draught beer comes from there too. According to its home page it is open daily from 12:00 to 16:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 (as of October 2026). The menu ranges from smørrebrød and burgers to fish and steak; you can book a table online or by phone on +45 30 74 04 00. The operator's website is detgamlebryghus.dk.

Café Frederik VII

A café on the market square, Torvet 1, with a view of the square and the old town. The name comes from a statue of Frederik VII, a cast of which stands nearby. The tourism website's listing gives no opening hours; the operator address linked there could not be reached in October 2026. Phone: +45 55 81 59 58.

Øbageren: bakery and café

A sourdough bakery at Kostervej 2E, an organic business with a café. Bread, rye bread, cinnamon buns and the ingredients of the sandwiches are made in-house, and the room is open so you can watch the baking. The listing gives no opening hours; they are on Facebook and on the operator's website oebageren.dk. Phone: +45 60 53 19 77.

Bryghuset Møn

A brewery on Stege Bugt with a shop (Kostervej 35); the operator's website describes no restaurant operation. In the summer half-year the terrace with a view of Nyord is open. On 30 October 2026 the shop was "pt. vinterlukket" (closed for winter for now) according to the operator's website, with new hours to follow when it reopens. Tours are available by arrangement for groups of 10 or more, 149 DKK per person, with four beer tastings; enquiries to info@bryghusetmoen.dk.

Kaffehuset Møn

The roastery Kaffehuset Møn in Stege roasts its own coffee (see the page Stege). A café with seating and opening hours is not listed; the website showed a notice in October 2026 that it was closed. Ask before you visit.

Helles Have Gårdcafé

A farm café in Keldby (Klintevej 42, 4780 Stege) with a large garden, old fruit trees and a converted barn. It serves smørrebrød and paninis made with sourdough bread, coffee, tea, juice, cake and ice cream made from seasonal berries; everything comes from its own kitchen. It is open in the summer half-year; the last cake table in 2026 was on 13 September. For the cake table you reserve a place on +45 60 82 44 16 (no text messages) or at helle@helleshave.dk (helleshave.dk).

Restaurant Egn

Fine dining in the boutique hotel Egn (Bundgarnet 18, near Råbylille Strand), with Nordic and French influences, a seasonal menu and wine pairing. Open Friday and Saturday 18:30 to 22:00, with hours that can vary depending on bookings (egnbb.dk, as of October 2026). Book a table through the hotel's website.

Præstekilde in Møn Golf Resort

A hotel restaurant by the golf course (Klintevej 116, near Stege) with a three-course menu and a view over Stege Nor. Outside guests book by phone (+45 55 86 87 88). Hours for 2026/27 according to the operator's website: 1 April to 18 October daily 18:00 to 23:00, 19 October to 14 December Thursday to Saturday 18:00 to 23:00, closed from 16 December to 17 February.

Askeby and surroundings

Fanefjord Skovpavillon

A forest restaurant near Askeby (Fanefjord Skovvej 6) serving traditional cooking with a modern twist. For the "winter half-year" from 10 August 2026 to 28 June 2027: closed Monday to Wednesday except for pre-booked parties, Thursday to Saturday 17:00 to 22:00, Sunday 12:00 to 17:00; the hot kitchen closes at 20:00, and in the winter season only by reservation (operator's website). Nyord

Café Noorbohandelen and mustard mill

A café with a shop at Nyord Bygade 1. It is known for home-baked spelt bread and a lunch plate, and the house also sells spirits by weight, bitters and schnapps made from herbs and fruit from Nyord. The Nyord Sennepsmølle, a mustard mill in the historic horse-gang, is also here, with many varieties and tastings. Opening hours according to noorbohandelen.dk: from Easter to the autumn holidays daily 11:00 to 17:00 (at weekends and in the summer holidays 09:00 to 17:00), from the autumn holidays to Christmas Saturday 11:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 16:00, in January and February events only.

Restaurant Lolles Gaard

A historic house with a garden (Hyldevej 1). It serves lunch and dinner with traditional Danish dishes and local drinks, and has a garden café. On 30 October 2026 the operator's website reports: 2026 season over, reopening in 2027. Outside the season the business answers only e-mails (lollesnyord@gmail.com).

Bogø

Bogø lies between Møn and Falster, on the way over the Farø bridges. The journey is described on the page Getting to the island of Møn.

BogøBrød

A sourdough bakery and café at the harbour (Grønsundvej 595, 4793 Bogø By). Everything is made from organic and regional ingredients, with breakfast and lunch; in the evening a café opens with wood-fired pizza. In summer there is often live music in the evening, and the concerts are free. The listing gives no hours; it links to an external page. Phone: +45 40 31 35 11.

Café Farø Vad

A restaurant and café at Farø Vad (Farø Vad 5, 4793 Bogø By) with rotisserie, brunch and tapas. According to the operator's website it is closed Monday and Tuesday, open Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10:00 to 21:00, the kitchen closes at 20:00, and brunch is served on opening days from 10:00 to 14:00 (as of October 2026). Møn Is (Hovgårdsvej 4, Stege): an ice cream dairy on a family farm with around 160 organic dairy cows, founded in 2010. The farm shop sells ice cream, cold drinks, cheese, sausage, olives and fresh milk you fill yourself (16 DKK per litre plus packaging, according to the operator's website). Hours under "Åbningstider" on moen-is.dk.
Bryghuset Møn: beer and juice brewed on Møn, with a shop in Stege (see above).
Isle of Møn Spirits (Fanefjordgade 12, Askeby): gin and snaps since 2016, distilled in the old barn with hand-picked herbs from the island. Tours with tasting, cocktail courses and gin workshops; dates at isleofmoen.com.
