Camping on Møn

There are six campsites on Møn: Camp Møns Klint by the chalk cliffs, Møn Strandcamping on the Ulvshale peninsula, Møn Camping at Hårbølle Strand, Camping Mønbroen on the Ulvsund, Keldby Camping Møn in the middle of the island and Stege Camping in Stege (Visit Sydsjælland & Møn). Most sites are open from April or May to September or October, Keldby Camping and Stege Camping all year. For camping on Møn in Denmark the rule is: if you want to be near the cliffs, choose Camp Møns Klint; if you want to lie on the beach, choose Ulvshale or Hårbølle.

The starting point for all distances is Stege, the main town. From there it is 17.4 km to Camp Møns Klint, 16.9 km to Hårbølle and 7 km to Møn Strandcamping (OpenStreetMap routing and operator information, as of October 2026). More about the town is on the page Stege.

Camp Møns Klint (Møns Klint Resort)

The site is in Borre on Østmøn and belongs to Møns Klint Resort. The operator lists 400 pitches of different sizes, from 16–36 m² for small tents to 100–150 m² for caravans, motorhomes and off-road vehicles (off-road pitches only with four-wheel drive). There are also bicycle camping pitches, cabins, glamping tents at Villa Huno, Dark Sky suites with spa and the hotel Villa Huno. It is 3.0 km to the GeoCenter Møns Klint.

According to the operator, showers, mini golf, WiFi, playground and the heated outdoor pool are included in the price of a stay; the pool is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00 from 1 July to 31 August. There is a kiosk, the pizzeria Dark Sky Pizza during the camp's opening times, and two charging points for electric cars. Check-in is possible from 12:00, and on the day of departure the pitch has to be vacated by 11:00. Dogs stay free of charge; they are not allowed in Villa Huno or in the glamping. Prices are shown only in the online booking system. For spring or autumn you can book a seasonal pitch.

Møn Strandcamping: the site at Ulvshale

The site is officially called Møn Strandcamping, and many people search for it as Ulvshale Camping. It is at Ulvshalevej 236 in Stege and has direct access to the beach at Ulvshale. The Camønoen walking trail passes the site. The operator lists caravan pitches near the forest and the beach, separate motorhome pitches and tent pitches; the site is rated three stars by ADAC and ANWB.

The 2027 season runs from 3 May to 12 September. The 2027 prices (valid from 27 September 2026, all in euros including environmental charge and VAT): from €34 for two adults per day in the low season (3 May to 2 July and 29 August to 12 September), from €49 in the high season (2 July to 29 August), in each case plus electricity. A dog costs 15 DKK per day and has to be kept on a lead. Check-in is from 14:00, check-out by 10:00, and the entrance is open from 7:00 to 22:00. At the main building there are reception, shop, family bathrooms, washing machine, cooking facilities, bike hire and WiFi; from 4 July to 15 August a summer café opens about 50 m away. The site is hilly and, according to the operator, not suitable for disabled access. Stege is 7 km away.

Møn Camping at Hårbølle Strand

Møn Camping is a small nature campsite in the south-west of Møn, Hårbøllevej 87 in Askeby. The operators call it the former Camping Vestmøn. It lies directly on the beach, and according to the operator the sea can be seen from almost anywhere on the site. New sanitary and kitchen buildings were built in 2026. There is a bakery and café, a dish of the day, a small shop and a nature playground.

The 2026 season runs from 1 April to 1 October. Prices per night in 2026, including environmental charge and VAT: adults 128 DKK, children from 0 to 16 years 75 DKK, pitch fee 125 DKK, electricity 75 DKK; in the high season the price list gives 95 DKK per unit for parking (4 July to 15 August). Dogs are free but have to stay on a lead. You choose a free pitch yourself and then register at reception. More about the place is on the page Hårbølle; the operator's website is moencamping.dk.

Camping Mønbroen on the Ulvsund

The site is at Kostervej 86 on the Ulvsund, 2.2 km from Kalvehave, and belongs to the organic farm Koster Færgegård. The main area has around 110 pitches, all with electricity and almost all about 120 m², plus about 20 pitches directly on the water. It also offers two cabins, two safari tents, two tipis, a shelter for 4 to 5 people, caravans for rent and kayak hire. The site is a stop on the Camønoen. There is its own slipway and bathing jetties. The farm shop sells meat from the farm's own animals.

At the moment the site is in its winter break and is getting new owners; booking for 2027 is due to start in November. Prices 2026: adults 90 DKK (low season, 1 April to 19 June and 23 August to 18 October) or 100 DKK (19 June to 23 August), children aged 2 to 11 50 or 60 DKK, pitch fee depending on position and size 50 to 90 DKK or 60 to 120 DKK. Keldby Camping Møn

Keldby Camping is in the middle of the island, at Pollerupvej 3, and according to the operator is open all year. The site is flat and surrounded by tall hedges; it is 5 km to Stege and 15 km to Møns Klint. Besides pitches, the operator rents several cabins, including seven luxury cabins of 25 m² with bathroom, which can be booked all year. Dogs are welcome in all cabins. There is a playground, trampolines, beach volleyball and a shop with fresh bread rolls.

Prices 2026 per day, including environmental charge: adults 97 DKK in spring and autumn, 109 DKK in summer (22 June to 17 August) and 90 DKK in winter (1 November 2026 to 28 February 2027, with limited service). Children pay 50 to 55 DKK, a dog 10 DKK, the pitch fee is 45 to 55 DKK, electricity 40 to 45 DKK. For the village: Keldby. Stege Camping

Stege Camping is a small site at Falcksvej 3, only a few minutes' walk from the market square and half a kilometre from the water. The operator calls it a year-round site. The prices for the period 1 April to 20 October 2026: adults 95 DKK, children 55 DKK, pitch rent 60 DKK for the caravan and 40 DKK for the tent, electricity for the caravan 60 DKK. Motorhomes pay a fixed price of 300 DKK per day, everything included. Showers are free. Cabins for two or three people cost 600 or 700 DKK per day. Reservations by email or phone (+45 35 11 10 09).

Motorhomes and caravans

The site operators list these offers for motorhomes and caravans:

• Camp Møns Klint: separate pitches for motorhomes and caravans of 64 to 150 m² as well as off-road pitches for four-wheel-drive vehicles.
• Møn Strandcamping: specially equipped motorhome pitches, emptying of camping toilets.
• Camping Mønbroen: pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes; directly on the water only outside the high season.
• Stege Camping: motorhome fixed price 300 DKK per day.
• GeoCenter Møns Klint: no overnight stays in the car park, daytime parking is allowed (as of October 2026).

Tents, shelters and cabins

If you travel without a caravan, you will find tent meadows or cabins on almost all sites. Mønbroen also rents a safari tent, tipi and a shelter. The shelter has room for 4 to 5 people, and you can rent the mattress. Season, weather and excursions

For the high season in July and August you should book early; Møn Camping is, by its own account, usually fully booked in summer.
